This vintage trio have been transformed into an elegant and subtle light fixture, designed to be suspended from the ceiling on a wooden rail.

They have been created in order to inspire the following questions: How many bottles of wine do you consume in a year? What happens to those bottles after their contents have been consumed? How much energy goes into the production, recycling and distribution processes?

Recycling glass bottles is not as environmentally friendly as it sounds, due to the sheer amount of energy and chemicals required to reproduce them. The best energy efficient way to consume alcohol is to make it at home or buy that which is produced locally from a bodega.
