These cufflinks (made from keyboard letters to form personal initials) illustrate the extent to which we have begun to identify, express and even define ourselves using computers and computing technology. Choosing to use a certain brand labels us by society and therefore stands for part of who we are, as our initials stand for our names.

Computers have become an extension of our individual personalities; Macs have been branded in order to label their users as creative people; notebooks for mobile internet junkies and travellers, etc. Computers store photos, memories, dates and other personal data so that our own memories don’t have to.
